About Alyssa

Singer, Actress, Teacher, Cat Lady

Alyssa Bruno 77.jpg

Alyssa Bruno was born in the village of Markle, a historic little town, about twenty miles outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. By the age of five, she was singing onstage and at the age of eight, her mother cleverly introduced her to Julie Andrews’ portrayal of Maria in The Sound of Music. Soon after, she spun her way into the role of Gretl VonTrapp in a local college production. The acting bug had bitten and has been sucking ever since!

A graduate of the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Point Park University, Alyssa has performed in over a hundred productions ranging from community and educational theatres to professional and regional theatres. She also sings at every opportunity, be it weddings or other events. She loves children and enjoys teaching when not performing.

During the day, Alyssa works as a Senior Stylist for StitchFix. In her spare time, she is a bookworm and enjoys calligraphy.

Alyssa resides in the Pittsburgh Area with her husband, infant daughter, and five rescue cats awaiting the next adventure…
